We’re hiring an Account Executive (or Senior Account Executive depending on experience) to lead enterprise and strategic sales at Lynx. Description The Role We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive to lead enterprise and strategic sales at Lynx. This is a named account, high-ACV sales role. You’ll be responsible for developing and closing opportunities within a defined set of high-value accounts and target segments, with a focus on building deep, multi-threaded relationships and converting them into long-term platform partnerships. You will own the full motion—from initial outreach through contract—and will be expected to drive deal strategy using MEDDICC, navigate complex buying groups, and close large, multi-stakeholder deals. There is no overlay team. You will run your own demos, manage your own process, and quarterback every deal end-to-end. What You’ll Own Own a Named Account Strategy - Develop and execute account plans across a defined set of strategic, high-value accounts - Identify whitespace, map stakeholders, and create multi-threaded engagement strategies - Build long-term relationships that convert into large, multi-year platform deals Land and Expand Strategic Accounts - Close enterprise-level, multi-year agreements with large platforms and operators - Expand footprint within accounts by identifying new use cases and revenue streams - Focus on key verticals including fintech, embedded finance, and healthcare payments Navigate Complex Buying Organizations - Multi-thread across product, engineering, finance, compliance, and executive stakeholders - Build consensus and drive internal alignment within customer organizations - Establish credibility at both technical and executive levels Run MEDDICC-Driven Sales Cycles - Rigorously apply MEDDICC methodology to qualify, progress, and close deals - Build clear business cases (Metrics), identify Economic Buyers, and map Decision Criteria & Process - Proactively manage risks, competition, and deal slippage Lead Full-Cycle Enterprise Sales - Own long, complex sales cycles (3–9+ months) from prospecting through close - Drive discovery, solution alignment, ROI articulation, and executive engagement - Structure and negotiate high-value, multi-variable deals Lead Technical Sales Without a Net - Run your own demos and technical walkthroughs—no sales engineers - Develop deep expertise in Lynx’s APIs, platform architecture, and use cases - Confidently handle integration, product, and technical objections Drive Deal Strategy & Commercial Outcomes - Own pricing, packaging, and contract strategy - Partner with Legal and Risk to navigate regulated and compliance-heavy environments - Anticipate blockers and create paths to close Operate with Precision - Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce - Balance long-cycle enterprise deals with proactive pipeline generation - Consistently hit aggressive revenue targets tied to large ACV deals What We’re Looking For Enterprise Sales Leader - 5–8+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience focused on enterprise / strategic accounts - Proven track record closing high ACV, multi-stakeholder deals - Experience owning named accounts or strategic territories MEDDICC Practitioner - Strong, consistent use of MEDDICC (or MEDDPICC) in complex deal environments - Ability to inspect deals rigorously and identify gaps early - Comfortable building and defending deal strategy Complex Deal Operator - Skilled at multi-threading and navigating buying committees - Strong at building ROI-driven business cases and executive alignment - Able to operate effectively in long, ambiguous sales cycles Healthcare + Payments Expertise (Strong Plus) - Relationships or experience within: - Medicare Advantage - Consumer-Directed Healthcare (CDH) - ICHRA platforms - Third Party Administrators (TPAs) - Understanding of healthcare payment flows and regulatory considerations Technical & Product Fluency - Experience selling API-first or platform-based products - Ability to run demos and engage deeply with product and engineering stakeholders - Strong ability to connect technical capabilities to business value Builder Mentality - Self-directed, resourceful, and accountable - Comfortable operating without heavy support infrastructure - Motivated by ownership, impact, and winning Communication & Executive Presence - Strong executive communication and storytelling ability - Able to simplify complex systems into clear, compelling narratives - Confident in high-stakes, high-visibility conversations Why Lynx - Strategic Deals Only: Focus on large, meaningful partnerships—not transactional sales - Massive Market: Payments + healthcare finance is complex, underbuilt, and wide open - Ownership: You own your accounts, your deals, and your outcomes - Upside: High performance directly translates to comp, equity, and influence Compensation & Benefits - Competitive base + uncapped commission tied to high ACV / multi-year deals - Meaningful equity participation - Health, dental, and vision coverage - Flexible PTO - Remote-friendly About the Company Lynx is building the payments infrastructure layer for the next generation of fintech, healthcare finance, and embedded commerce.
