The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and reliable individual who welcomes the challenges of working leisure travel sales. You will build key customer relationships and identify business opportunities for our hotel Portfolio (innroadsgroup.com).

Position is home based in the NY Tristate area, preferably in Northern New Jersey or Westchester and requires frequent access to an... automobile.

Responsibilities
? Responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans for the leisure travel trade in the Northeast.
? Develop relationships with travel advisors to generate business opportunities thru telephone solicitations, web presentations, outside sales calls, site visits and written communication.
? Attend regional & national tradeshows and events in the Northeast.
? Plan and execute sales road shows for hotel visits into the market.
? Plan and direct on-property site inspections, discovery tours, and FAM trips, as needed.
? Continually update internal travel advisor database with contact information.
? Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
? Manage personal monthly expenditures and budget, along with timely submission of expense reports.
? Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
? 5+ years of hotel sales experience with 2 years of leisure sales focus.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Advanced in computer applications including Microsoft Windows (including PPT)
? Comprehensive knowledge of hotels and sales practices
? Strong solicitation and selling skills with a proven track record of market share growth
? Proven ability to travel and work independently, as well as a part of a team.

Travel Requirements: ? Travel throughout the Northeast to promote Innnroads Group Hotel Collection. In certain occasions, travel will be required to hotels for familiarization trips. ? Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. ? Not to exceed 10% of time for travel that requires overnight stays
