Our client is a premier investment banking firm specializing in the technology sector. With a strong track record of advising high-growth companies, they provide strategic guidance on complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other critical initiatives. The firm is expanding and seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join their dynamic team. Position Overview: The Associate will play a key role in deal execution and client engagement, with a particular focus on Software as a Service (SaaS) companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in technology investment banking to take on greater responsibility and contribute meaningfully to high-impact transactions. This role is remote, but candidates must be living in the NYC area. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and support the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements. • Build and review complex financial models and valuation analyses. • Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials. • Conduct in-depth industry research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities. • Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, legal, and accounting teams. • Mentor and oversee analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development. • Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients to develop strategic insights and recommendations. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with a focus on the technology sector. • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting successful SaaS sell-side transactions. • Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
