Graphic Designer - US (Hybrid - Onsite and Remote) - Swiss Re - Fort Wayne, IN - Kansas City, MO - work from home job Company: Swiss Re Job description: About the Role As a Graphic Designer at iptiQ, you will play a crucial role in creating visual assets that effectively communicate complex insurance concepts and promote our insurance products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce compelling visual content that engages our target audiences and reinforces our brand identity. Key Roles and responsibilities: Design Marketing Collateral: Create eye-catching marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional graphics that highlight our insurance products and services. Digital Content: Design graphics for digital channels, including website banners, social media posts, email campaigns, and digital ads to drive engagement and conversions. Infographics: Develop informative and visually appealing infographics that simplify insurance information for our clients and prospects. Brand Identity: Ensure all design work adheres to our brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional visual identity. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with marketing, product dev, and sales teams to understand their design needs and contribute creative solutions. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging design technologies to keep our visual content relevant and effective. Photo Editing: Manipulate and enhance images for marketing and promotional purposes. Print Production: Prepare and optimize designs for print production, including liaising with printing vendors when necessary. Video Graphics: Occasionally create graphics and visuals for video content related to insurance education and promotion. Figma Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency with Figma, including creating and updating wireframes. Ability to create prototypes within Figma is highly desirable. Illustrations: Create custom illustrations to enhance marketing materials and promotional assets. Website Maintenance: Maintain and update our existing website hosted on Hubspot, ensuring consistent and updated design elements. CRM Experience: Familiarity or direct experience with Hubspot CRM is a significant plus. UX/UI Design: Engage in UX/UI design processes, understanding user journeys, and creating user-centric designs. Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure a seamless user experience across platforms. Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field preffered or equivilant experience. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including print and digital materials. Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Knowledge of insurance terminology and concepts is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Understanding of current design trends and emerging technologies. Experience with video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
