About the position The GCP Cloud Solution Architect at V2Soft is responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves understanding business drivers, emerging technology trends, and translating requirements into architectural blueprints. The architect will work closely with product owners and managers to ensure that the architecture supports future business needs and will also manage the modernization of existing systems while promoting cloud migration. Responsibilities • Understand business drivers and capabilities to determine enterprise system designs and change requirements. • Analyze the business-IT environment to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. • Work closely with product owners and managers to ensure a robust architectural runway. • Define principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns for alignment with future-state architecture vision. • Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and document all design work. • Support product managers in end-of-life product decisions. • Manage and develop architecture for a broader scope of projects or products. • Provide architectural solutions to modernize existing on-prem systems and promote cloud migration. • Articulate new ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Work creatively and analytically to solve business problems. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • 8+ years of work experience in IT solution development disciplines, including architecture and cloud development. • 2-3 years of recent experience as a Solution Architect with hands-on experience in Spring Boot REST APIs. • In-depth knowledge of full stack and Microservices architectures, with hands-on experience in NodeJS, ExpressJS, Angular, React, ReactNative, and GraphQL. • Hands-on experience in at least two of the three cloud areas: AWS, GCP, Azure. • Ability to set up a DevOps pipeline for automated deployment. • Good understanding of high-performing enterprise web and mobile application development.
