Expert Technical Project Manager

About the position Leads data remediation and data quality improvement projects from inception to closeout utilizing project management tools and methodologies to manage the scope, schedule and cost of multiple projects with varying complexities. This position functions under the Asset Knowledge Management (AKM) organization who is responsible for the management of PG&Es GIS database which houses more than 2 billion attributes. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the greater Sacramento area or the Bay Area. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $122,000 Bay Area Maximum: $194,000 OR California Minimum: $116,000 California Maximum: $184,000 Responsibilities • Manages numerous complex or major projects • Typical project value < $50M • Applies and adapts project management techniques • Requires extensive risk management • May include formal partnering agreements with other firms • Assignments are broad and complex, have associated risks/high visibility, and can be sensitive or widely varied Requirements • BA/BS or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or the appropriate technical discipline • 8 years relevant experience • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification Nice-to-haves • Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience • Job-related experience, 10 years • Experience as Project Manager, 6 years • Complex problem-solving experience • Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams to a common goal/desired outcome • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Apply tot his job
