About the Role of a Student Success Coach As a Student Success Coach at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in guiding students throughout their educational journey. Your primary objective will be to empower students to overcome challenges, develop essential skills, and become lifelong learners. You will work closely with each student, providing personalized support, motivation, and encouragement to help them achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities Support enrollment, student development, and retention services to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students. Manage a group of assigned students, coaching each through their degree program with proactive and timely outreach. Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary for academic success. Provide a trusted and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests. Offer guidance on utilizing resources to maximize student success and become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support. Act as a liaison between students and various departments, ensuring seamless communication and support. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures. Ability to learn technical skills quickly. Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner. Strong customer support focus and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. Familiarity with student information systems and educational software. Certification in resume writing or career coaching. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
