About Our Client and the Role Our client specializes in procuring and managing properties to operate as Short-Term Rentals (STRs), maximizing returns on investment for their clients. As a Remote Vacation Rental Manager, you'll play a key role in managing online and phone customer service, operations, and marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in residential property management and hospitality while working remotely from Latin America. Job Overview and Responsibilities This full-time, 100% work-from-home position offers a competitive salary of $3,000 - $4,000 USD per month, depending on experience, along with PTO based on tenure. The schedule is flexible, with most work taking place Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, and some agreed-upon hours on weekends. Key Responsibilities: • Email & Mobile Apps: Respond to prospective guest inquiries and questions using communication templates and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Inventory/Supplies Management: Track, purchase, and organize supplies for consumables, and replace furniture and home furnishings as needed. • Organization & Communication: Document, track, and manage short/medium/long-term projects related to property management, including setup, repair, maintenance, and improvements. • Negotiate Pricing and Get Bookings: Send offers and negotiate bookings using various online platforms. • Expand Marketing: Post listings on other web properties and social media to increase visibility and attract more guests. • Process Improvement: Create, improve, and train others to use SOPs, and identify areas to improve processes and implement projects. Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Essential Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Vacation Rental or Property Management. • Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) to effectively communicate with guests and team members. • A good sense of bolthires/benefit analysis to make informed decisions. • Detail-oriented, especially with writing, spelling, and mathematical calculations. • Comfortable working on a mobile phone, using chat apps, and working with bolthires Sheets/Docs/Calendar on a smartphone. Preferred Qualifications: • A Master's Degree, which is highly preferred. • Previous experience in hospitality or a related field. Key Skills and Competencies: • Demonstrated initiative to solve problems and willingness to ask for help when needed. • Reliable internet connection to ensure seamless remote work. • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call during agreed-upon hours to respond to urgent inquiries and issues. • Motivated to provide excellent experiences for guests and neighbors. • Strong organizational skills, including scheduling, documenting processes, and coordinating projects. • Flexible and eager to learn new skills to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
