A Day in the Role As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in processing various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews. Your primary responsibilities will include: Extracting data from medical documents and entering it into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone Working in a metrics/quota-driven environment and meeting productivity standards Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: Processing medical documents in a timely and accurate manner Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our electronic database Providing exceptional customer service to clients and responding to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of remote work experience Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting productivity standards Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks) Essential Qualifications In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will possess: Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
