Key Responsibilities As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. Your primary responsibilities will include: Transferring data from paper formats to computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners. Entering data provided directly by customers in a timely and accurate manner. Creating spreadsheets with a large number of figures without errors, utilizing advanced formulas and functions. Verifying data by comparing it with source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Updating existing data to reflect changes, corrections, or new information. Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by senior team members or management. Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss. Sorting and organizing paperwork after data entry to ensure data is not lost or compromised. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications: Demonstrated experience as a data entry clerk, preferably in a remote or hybrid work environment.
