About the Role: Continuous Improvement Specialist We're seeking an experienced and self-motivated Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Fulfillment Continuous Improvement Group. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in driving process improvements across our fulfillment network, with a focus on safety, quality, speed, and cost reduction. Your expertise will help us establish a culture of continuous improvement, waste elimination, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with our fulfillment center leaders to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring consistency and standardization across our network Lead and facilitate workshops and events with our fulfillment teams to drive cultural change and adoption of continuous improvement principles Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of our continuous improvement initiatives Provide coaching and mentoring to fulfillment center Site Managers, Operations Directors, and Managers to ensure successful implementation of process improvements Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Warehouse Operations, Planning, Category Management, Supplier Performance, Data Analytics, Marketing, Product Performance, and Policy to drive business outcomes Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our operations and stay ahead of the competition Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, or Business; an MBA is preferred Proven experience in continuous improvement, site/group leadership, or industrial engineering, ideally in an e-commerce fulfillment or distribution/manufacturing environment Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable Significant experience with Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Process Improvement practices within a high-volume, fast-paced organization Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to adopt a culture of continuous improvement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results and make data-driven decisions Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Experience with change management and organizational development principles What We Offer At Wayfair, we're committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $25/hour, as well as a range of benefits and perks, such as: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) matching and retirement savings plan Flexible paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and development Access to cutting-edge technology and tools A dynamic and supportive work environment Our Culture and Values At Wayfair, we're passionate about creating a culture that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
