Key Responsibilities Deleting messages that violate our Discord server rules to maintain a clean and respectful environment. Banning users with multiple and repeat violations of the server rules to protect the community. Muting users who have violated the rules to provide a temporary measure for reflection and adherence to guidelines. Investigating reports made by users about violations of the server rules to ensure fairness and justice within the community. Engaging with users to provide support, answer questions, and foster a sense of community and belonging. Collaborating with other moderators and the blithequark team to develop and implement community policies and guidelines. Staying updated on community trends, issues, and concerns to continuously improve moderation practices. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age or older. Hold a High School Diploma or GED. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with users and the moderation team. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate reports and make informed decisions. Be highly organized and able to work independently in a remote setting. Have a strong understanding of online community dynamics and the importance of maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in community moderation, customer service, or a related field, as well as familiarity with Discord and its features.
