Job Summary We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the US, focusing on the HVAC industry. This is a fully remote role with 50% travel requirements, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere and create your own schedule. As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for managing manufacturer representative firms, building a book of business, and driving business development in your assigned region. Key Responsibilities Manage a book of business of roughly $4.5-7.5 million in revenue annually, driving business development and market share growth in your assigned region. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase sales and revenue in the assigned region, working closely with manufacturer representative firms and end-users. Travel throughout the assigned region to present product solutions, educate customers on value propositions, and build strong relationships with high-level corporations. Manage relationships with manufacturer representative firms, assist with training and product presentation meetings, and ensure seamless execution of sales strategies. Carry out meetings directly with building owners, contractors, and engineers to promote our dehumidification products and solutions. Utilize a CRM (Salesforce, etc.) to track sales performance, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data to inform business decisions. Develop and implement sales strategies for specific markets, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue in the assigned region. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least 4 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a proven track record of business development and sales growth. Recent experience building a book of business, creating a strategic roadmap to take over market share, and driving business development. Experience managing manufacturer representative firms and working with end-users in the HVAC industry. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong and long-term relationships with high-level corporations. Ability to travel 50% of the time, with a flexible schedule to accommodate remote work requirements. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred). Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, etc.) to track sales performance and manage customer interactions. Knowledge of the HVAC industry, including dehumidification products and solutions. Experience developing sales strategies for specific markets and identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and inform business decisions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, manufacturer representative firms, and cross-functional teams.
