Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient distributed systems that meet the highest standards of protection and availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software lifecycle, from conception to delivery. Participate in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization. Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, C#, and SQL, as well as Container Orchestration services, including Docker and Kubernetes. Leverage your technical expertise to drive product definition and solution development. Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our technology stack. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience within a Java framework (J2EE, web containers, and Java). 2+ years of experience with architecture and design, including object-oriented design and CS data structures and algorithms. 2+ years of experience with cloud services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience. Strong problem-solving ability, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs. Understanding of monitoring tools, such as Azure Portal, and intermediate PowerShell scripting skills. Knowledge of security protocols and products, including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth. Experience with DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework. Familiarity with developer tooling across the software development life cycle.
