Key Responsibilities As a Sales & Reservations Agent, your primary responsibilities will include: Handling back-to-back inbound calls, providing personalized solutions to customers, and ensuring seamless reservation processes. Working within defined guidelines, including following a script and advisories, to facilitate efficient and effective customer interactions. Utilizing multiple business software applications to navigate and resolve customer inquiries, while prioritizing and multi-tasking to meet business needs. Participating in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Meeting or exceeding sales and performance targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Initial Education and Training U-Haul's comprehensive, three-week education program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role. Our paid education program includes: Instructor-led class discussions and role-playing exercises to build confidence and proficiency. Interactive simulations, videos, and e-learning modules to enhance your understanding of U-Haul products and services. Hands-on training with real customers, allowing you to apply your knowledge and skills in a live environment. Compensation and Benefits As a Sales & Reservations Agent, you can expect: A competitive hourly base pay of $13.00, with the potential to earn $17-20 per hour through discretionary sales bonuses and base pay merit increases based on performance. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: One year of customer service or sales experience in a retail setting or environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a clear speaking voice, excellent verbal communication, and active listening skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task, navigating through and using multiple business software applications. Successful completion of a job-related assessment. Work from Home Requirements To ensure a productive and efficient work environment, you will need to meet the following requirements: A private, quiet work area in your home, free from distractions and interruptions. Dependent and child-care arrangements, as if you were working in-person in an office environment. A personal home computer that meets the technical requirements outlined below. Technical Requirements To work from home, you will need to meet the following technical requirements: Windows 11 operating system. 16GB (minimum) of RAM/memory or higher (recommended: 32GB). Processor with a CPU benchmark score of 6,000 (minimum) or higher (recommended: 10,000). SSD internal storage with 5GB (minimum) free space. Webcam (external or built-in). USB headset (wired). Ping under 100. 50MB (minimum) download speed (recommended: 100MB). 5MB (minimum) upload speed (recommended: 10MB).
