As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer care to callers seeking assistance with healthcare plans. If you are fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese and English, possess strong data entry and telephone skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to all inquiries consistent with confidentiality and privacy policies and refer callers to alternate sources when appropriate. * Perform co-browse interactions with consumers seeking assistance with the application process via the NYSOH, as necessary. * Process new applications for health care coverage via the telephone, including building tax household, household income, eligibility determinations, interpreting determinations made by the Marketplace, and enrollment into health plans. * Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics. * Occasionally lift, carry, or otherwise move items weighing up to 25 pounds. * Remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time. * Adhere to established safety standards. **Essential Qualifications** * Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese and English (speaking and reading). * Strong data entry and telephone skills. * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. * Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced work environment. * Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously. * Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. * Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred. * Previous experience in customer service preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience working in a remote environment. * Experience with healthcare plans and applications. * Knowledge of the NYSOH and Marketplace. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Excellent time management and prioritization skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
