Job Summary: Amazon Account Director - Remote We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales leader with a proven track record in managing Amazon 1P relationships to spearhead the growth of our global business. As an Amazon Account Director, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing long-term strategies while managing day-to-day operations. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments, presenting results to the management team, and driving continuous improvement to meet quarterly sales objectives. Key Responsibilities Drive Sales Growth: Achieve quarterly sales objectives through strategic planning and execution, balancing top-line success with bottom-line profitability. Global Perspective: Manage sales operations across multiple regions, including the US, Europe, Canada, and Japan, ensuring a cohesive global strategy. Brand Messaging: Oversee the messaging for our premium brand, ensuring alignment with Amazon's guidelines and developing creative content for product listings. Marketing Campaigns: Execute effective marketing campaigns, including Amazon Ads, Amazon Business, and tier 1 promotions, to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. Subject Matter Expertise: Stay abreast of Amazon's operational changes and recommend corresponding updates to our business strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as inventory forecasting and new product releases, and manage external agency resources on a day-to-day basis. Sales Analysis: Analyze sales patterns to identify trends, flag anomalies, and provide actionable insights for review. Essential Qualifications Amazon 1P Experience: Proven experience managing Amazon's 1P (reseller) relationship; 3P experience will not be considered. Quarterly Sales Goals: A history of meeting or exceeding quarterly sales objectives. Vendor Central Knowledge: Familiarity with operating within Vendor Central. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of profitability analysis, including Amazon's different ordering types. Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented, diligent, and organized, with strong analytical capabilities. Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills, particularly with Amazon Vendor Negotiations (AVN). Multitasking and Collaboration: Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and collaborate with internal teams while adapting to shifting priorities. Preferred Qualifications Ecommerce Experience: General ecommerce experience and knowledge of marketplaces beyond Amazon. Bachelor's Degree: A degree in business or marketing, though not required, is considered a plus.
