Job Summary Responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution management of complex, cross-functional initiatives across a highly technical, fast-paced organization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring engineering and business teams are aligned, resourced, and delivering predictably. The ideal candidate is a seasoned delivery leader with a strong agile mindset, deep tactical planning and coordination management, and proven experience building execution discipline without slowing teams down. You bring a hands-on approach, coach teams through change, and know how to scale agile practices in enterprise environments. Job Description Additional Info/Highly Preferred Experience: • Position is office based in Irvine, CA -4 days a week in office/1 day remote. • Release Train Engineer experience with a strong engineering team collaboration background ideal within streaming, video, media industry. Core Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end execution of large, cross-functional projects that are critical to business success. • Lead tactical delivery across multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment through consistent agile workflows, ceremonies, and execution standards. • Act as a senior agile leader and coach, helping teams adopt, mature, and continuously improve agile ways of working in highly technical environments. • Design, implement, and optimize Jira workflows, reporting, and dashboards to support capacity planning and demand forecasting, dependency and collision management, and proactive risk identification and mitigation. • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Business leaders to translate strategic priorities into executable delivery plans. • Drive clarity and accountability across teams by identifying delivery risks, managing tradeoffs, and course-correcting as needed. • Lead a high-performing team of project managers through coaching, development, and performance management. • Establish the right level of process rigor, bringing structure and predictability while remaining flexible and responsive to change. • Provide clear, data-driven communication to senior leaders on delivery status, capacity, risks, and resourcing needs. Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
