Job Title: Dental Hygiene Instructor (Day Classes) Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week | Day Schedule Shape the Next Generation of Dental Health Professionals Are you a passionate dental hygienist or dentist looking to inspire future talent? Our accredited program is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygiene Instructor to play a pivotal role in educating and mentoring our students. You will deliver a dynamic curriculum, foster a supportive learning environment, and ensure our graduates are prepared for clinical excellence and success. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be essential to our students' academic journey. Your core duties will include: • Instruction & Curriculum Delivery: Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet program competencies and course objectives. • Student Success & Advocacy: • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and grades, providing timely reports and interventions. • Provide one-on-one tutoring and academic counseling, collaborating with the Program Director to develop remediation plans when needed. • Identify students needing additional support and refer them to the Student Services Coordinator for specialized resources. • Academic Leadership & Collaboration: • Actively participate in faculty meetings and contribute to program development. • Uphold and ensure student adherence to all academic policies and standards. • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and files. What You Bring (Minimum Qualifications): • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Graduate of a Dental Hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). • A current, active license, certification, or credential as required to practice in the Dental Hygiene field. • Minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist or Dentist. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in bolthires Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
