Compliance Consultant IV- National Provider Contracting and Mental Health Parity

About the position The Compliance Consultant IV position will support the Risk Management, Audit Readiness and Mental Health Parity team. This role is responsible for intake and implementation of new laws and regulations for Kaiser Permanente National Provider Contracting and Strategy. This includes partnering with external contracted networks and internal stakeholders across markets and departments to ensure compliance. This role has accountability for managing delegation oversight requirements for national contracts, preparing the annual audit plan, addressing gaps, completing corrective actions, monitoring contracts for compliance, implementing process/controls to manage oversight of contracts, and writing national policies and desktop level procedures. The consultant will also support the national Mental Health Parity Shared Service, working with internal stakeholders and external consultants to respond to Kaiser Permanente Insurance Company (KPIC) self-funded mental health parity non-quantitative treatment limit requests from external consultant groups. This includes leading and managing work with key external consultants and internal SMEs, project management and working with teams across the enterprise to gather and interpret data. Responsibilities • Practices self-development and promotes learning in others by proactively providing information, resources, advice, and expertise with coworkers and customers. , • Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area. , • Conducts company compliance activities by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. , • Develops compliance reports by evaluating and summarizing compliance data, audit information, and potential risks and remedies. , • Conducts compliance investigations by collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. , • Assists with and supports the management of projects or compliance components of larger cross-functional projects. , • Assists with ensuring regulatory compliance by monitoring regulatory changes. , • Coordinates the implementation of compliance efforts by identifying compliance requirements. Requirements • Experience in compliance activities and regulatory compliance. , • Strong analytical skills to evaluate compliance data and audit information. , • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. , • Project management skills to manage compliance components of larger projects. , • Excellent communication skills for developing compliance reports and conducting investigations. Nice-to-haves • Experience with mental health parity regulations. , • Familiarity with Kaiser Permanente's operational structure. , • Knowledge of compliance standards and policies.
