Common Criteria Security Engineer - Robert Half
Description We are looking for a skilled Common Criteria Security Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate with product teams, external labs, and government entities to ensure compliance with Common Criteria standards. This position is based in Morrisville, North Carolina, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact certification initiatives. Responsibilities: Partner with third-party laboratories and government organizations to facilitate certification processes. Work closely with global engineers and program managers to ensure seamless collaboration throughout certification projects. Conduct feasibility studies and provide strategic assessments to support certification assurance. Develop and refine technical documentation to meet certification requirements. Analyze network configurations and perform evaluations to ensure compliance with security standards. Collaborate with development and QA teams to prepare products for pre-certification and certification phases. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for Cisco technologies, including routers and switches. Ensure effective configuration management and deployment strategies for datacenter environments. Contribute to the continuous improvement of certification processes and methodologies. Requirements At least 2-3 years of experience working with Common Criteria standards and government policies. Proficiency in Cisco technologies, including routers, Catalyst switches, and security solutions. Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and network configuration. Experience in creating and managing technical documentation for certification purposes. Familiarity with configuration management and deployment processes in datacenter environments. Ability to perform technical evaluations and feasibility studies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in network security contexts.
