Client Service Coordinator (Part-Time, 9am–2pm CST) Are you organized, detail-oriented, and love helping people? Do you enjoy keeping things on track, solving problems, and making sure no client need slips through the cracks? At SMD Consulting & Accounting, LLC, a boutique CPA firm in Plano, Texas, we provide luxury-level tax consulting, advisory, and bookkeeping services to business owners, medical professionals, and real estate investors. While our consultants focus on strategy, we need someone who ensures clients feel supported every step of the way. We’re looking for a Client Service Coordinator to join our team part-time (9am–2pm). This role is all about supporting our consultants, assisting clients, and keeping communication and organization flowing. What You’ll Do • Help consultants with day-to-day client needs. • Monitor and respond to client emails with professionalism and care. • Ensure client requests are tracked and followed through. • Organize and maintain digital files and documents. • Learn each client over time so you can anticipate needs and provide a personal touch. • Proactively flag issues, follow up on open items, and keep projects moving. • Provide general administrative support to the team. • Grow into additional responsibilities if you’d like—but no pressure if you prefer to stay in this role. What It Takes (Required Skills) • Strong attention to detail—you notice what others miss. • Proactive mindset—you don’t just wait for direction; you anticipate needs. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Problem-solving skills—you like figuring things out and removing roadblocks. • Comfort learning new systems and tools (we’ll train you—no tax/accounting background needed). • Ability to stay organized while juggling multiple tasks. • A positive, professional attitude with clients and team members.
