Capital Markets Jr Trading Analyst

The Capital Markets Trading Analyst will evaluate and quantify the company's profitability, reporting trends and determining cost-efficient solutions to maximize net income. Responsibilities Work directly with various wholesale, retail, and closed-loan purchase channels to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the bottom line Track market and lender activities Measure and monitor the market, liquidity and credit risk Develop and communicate tactical and strategic recommendations on portfolio activity to senior management Provide daily pricing and transactional support to Secondary Marketing department Work closely with Treasury department and warehouse lenders to ensure timely and complete settlement of loan sale proceeds Ensure trades are satisfied within the required deadlines Communicate with broker-dealers to confirm trade details and resolve any trade issues Assist in the daily capital markets activities of inputting trades, creating reports, and/or analyzing data Other duties as assigned Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent required Experience with Financial analysis tools including, but not limited to MS Excel, Crystal Reports, MS Access, Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, SQL, Relational Databases Interpersonal communication skills Ability to articulate complex ideas to management and sales staff Ability to work with large amounts of data Strong attention to detail and ability to meeting deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field Mortgage Banking experience and/or knowledge Benefits Medical/dental/vision Paid time off and holidays 401(k) Life and pet insurance Employee friends and family loan Employee assistance program that includes a variety of discounted services Company Overview Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. is a company providing Wholesale Lending, Correspondent Lending, Mini Correspondent, and Reverse Mortgages It was founded in 2000, and is headquartered in San Diego, California, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
