Primary Skills: Auditing (Intermediate), Compliance (Intermediate), COSO (Beginner), Risk-Assessment (Intermediate), Financial-Reporting (Intermediate) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 3+ Months Location: Los Angeles, CA () Pay Range: $40 to $44 per hour #LP Job Summary: We are seeking an Auditor II for our Treasury and Finance department, who will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to bank policies, regulations, and internal controls. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team on audit assignments to assess operational and credit risks, and compliance with regulatory standards. The auditor will need to keep abreast of changes in the business, regulatory, and financial landscapes, and contribute significantly to the development of the audit scope and the drafting of reports. Key Responsibilities: • Full compliance with Bank Operational and Credit policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements. • Develop an understanding of the business environment, regulatory standards, and the bank's products and services. • Preparation of detailed internal control narratives/flowcharts and audit programs. • Execution of audit programs, documentation of work performed, and discussion of findings with the auditee. • Contribution to the drafting and formatting of audit observation sheets and reports. Must-Have Skills: • Strong understanding of risk, internal controls, and auditing standards. • Proficiency in written and verbal communication. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Industry Experience: • Minimum 3 years of experience in internal control audits and risk assessments. • Previous experience within the financial services industry, preferably banking, is required.
