Farmers Insurance is seeking a motivated, goal-driven Agent in Training to join their successful team. This role involves driving revenue growth, delivering personalized insurance solutions, and contributing to a collaborative team culture while helping clients protect what matters most. Responsibilities Generating new business through prospecting, outreach, and converting leads to policies Conducting consultations with clients to determine their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage Selling and cross-selling a range of insurance products, such as Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies Building and maintaining strong client relationships through ongoing support and policy reviews Achieving and surpassing individual sales targets to support agency growth Keeping up-to-date with product information and compliance standards Utilizing CRM tools for lead management, follow-ups, and policy renewals Participating in team meetings and contributing to sales strategies Skills Prior sales experience or the proven ability to consistently achieve goals Strong communication skills Passion for sales Commitment to helping clients protect what matters most Enthusiastic about sales Self-motivated Professional Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Confidence making outbound calls and closing sales A coachable mindset and eagerness to grow Strong organizational and time management skills Utilizing CRM tools for lead management, follow-ups, and policy renewals 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (preferred, or willingness to obtain) Bilingual skills are a plus Benefits Performance bonuses and additional incentives Paid training and ongoing development opportunities Options for career advancement, including agency ownership pathway Flexible scheduling (hybrid options may be available) Supportive, collaborative team environment Access to health insurance options (based on agency offerings) Paid time off, holidays, and milestone rewards Company Overview As a Farmers district office, we are ready with guidance and resources that can help you grow your business.
