About the position As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with teams to achieve operational excellence and innovation. You will report directly to our Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and you'll work out of our Danville, KY location on a hybrid work schedule. As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving innovation, optimizing manufacturing processes, and achieving operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies, lead a team of talented engineers, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. Responsibilities • Provide strategic leadership and direction for advanced manufacturing engineering initiatives • Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence • Lead and manage projects to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance productivity • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives • Identify and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies • Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members Requirements • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics • Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and cost process optimization • Lean Manufacturing experience • Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in manufacturing operations • Strong leadership and people management skills • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Nice-to-haves • Advanced Engineering degrees such as EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) • Experience in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes • Strong project management skills • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in advanced manufacturing • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Benefits • In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. • This package includes employer subsidized Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance; Short-Term and Long-Term Disability; 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, EAP, and Educational Assistance; Parental Leave, Paid Time Off (for vacation, personal business, sick time, and parental leave), and 12 Paid Holidays.
