About the position The Account Manager position at Abbott Laboratories focuses on growing the Glucerna brand and increasing sales through Business Delivery at Costco. Responsibilities • Foster strong customer relations with Buyer, Assistant Buyer, and ICS. , • Deliver Net Sales growth and share objectives. , • Effectively negotiate trade deals to drive profitable business and positive ROI. , • Manage Trade Budget, Rate and Drive Net Sales Realization. , • Responsible for managing accurate sales and shipment forecast. , • Develop and leverage a thorough knowledge of the customer, industry, and competitive landscape. , • Own customer meetings and create the tactical plans to deliver Costco and Abbott's key objectives. , • Develop and deliver team strategies, objectives, goals, and key performance metrics. , • Actively lead, engage, and work with internal Abbott Nutrition functions, peers & colleagues to drive business results. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree , • 2-3 years direct sales experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry to Costco , • Strong record of exceeding sales growth and share objective , • Effective interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) , • Ability to analyze data/market trends to effectively develop presentations, provide recommendations, and forecast performance , • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Circana.
